No good in this world!

had a good finals today.. ran 2 min 12 secs for 800m.. pleased and thank God for the grace. still got 15km to run tml.. hehe.. see how..

went out with alex yesterday. we ate cartel, played a bit of arcade and talked a lot. it was fun! then something dawned upon me as i went back home. how good am i in this world? i dont have a promising place in uni, i'm not a very good runner, soccer, yes if i try to bluff myself, even in army i'm pretty much doing nothing.. hmmm.. where can i find a place here on daily planet? i'm not even good at arcade.haha.. it actually saddened me for a while when i thought about all this. but i began to see more of God's love in this. useless for this world, but useful for God. i once came up with this quote: "when you're no big deal in this world, you become a big deal for God" i was challenged by it myself!

God talks about "blessed is he who is weak in the spirit". It takes an acknowledgement as well as a deep realization of weakness to understand why are you so blessed. at the end of the day, the gameplan is simple; you're either in God's grace or your own strength and talent. You can't go to heaven on your own strength! so chose. To be build under the grace or the strength of futile man. Solid rock or dry sand? According to the world, I'm currently worth $517.20 but in the spiritual world I'm worth the death of His Son! more than that, I have an inheritance with the KING! beat that, crazy world! be blessed and more blessed cause i've already got 10000 beside. "know your worthlessness in this world and realize God's power in your life through the Spirit by the Son"

Going for pulau senang leisure trip for the whole of next week. its compulsory. want to see if Holy Spirit will encounter me or the rest of the people there. will keep praying!

Run baby run...

hELLO! had 2 races yesterday: 1500m and 800m. didn't do as well as i expected by i would once again say, i ran for God and it was enough mercy that i'm still able to honor and worship God through my ability.

something happened yesterday at Changi Naval Base yesterday that made me see how much i lacked focus on the Kingdom. before my 800m heats started, another heats had just ended and someone collapsed beside the track desperately gasping for breath. i know how it feels after you completed 800m. i looked and said "eh, how come that guy lay down there like that?" my heats was being lined up, having my eyes on him i went to stand at the start line. i felt like i dissapointed God. this guy needed attention and i could have given it to him if i was not so bothered about the race. my bad that i was too worried i wouldn't make it into the finals when God had already said, "I go before you". the guy received medical attention. at the end of the race, i knew it was my wrong to leave him like that so i repented before God and asked for mercy. God spoke to me saying, "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness..". at that point of time i lacked the trust in that promise. my job, my role as a believer is to seek God's righteousness and everywhere worship God. I pray the Spirit continues to lead me..

well.. that corrected and put aside, yesterday was shian wen's bday! shiok! went out to dinner with the MAD guys. met Sophia there.. haha.. and at the end of the day, the jokes came out pretty well.. hahaha. so here goes nothing:

Dom: i always go to this bar but i never get caught and it's not illegal. guess where?
James: barber!
Dom: bar of soap! hahahahahahaha..

Dom: what golf can you play only at night?
Gerald Ho: NIGHT-CLUB!
(i wonder how he got the answer so fast)

there was another joke about $1.90 which is the current best among MAd people. but i'll not elaborate too much on it for the sake of brother dominic.. hehehe.. (go ask him!)

OLE!

A group of the guys from school were playing soccer when the joke came up:

Tom, with the ball, went from the fifty yard line,dashed all the way to the 60yards mark, wheezed pass some big tough defenders and came up one on one against the last man! sweat dripping from both their foreheads into their eyes made it harder for a good decision to be made.

The last man, Chris, said to himself, " no way is he going to get pass me." a few seconds passed, 2 other defenders were coming up close to Tom when in a split of a second, Tom drove the ball between the 2 feets of Chris. all Chris could do was to stand with mouth wide open in amazement.

one of the players from Tom's team shouted, "OLE!".. Tom was about to shoot when someone from the other team shouted, "WHITENING CREAM!" The ball left Tom's leg in a very bad jerk and the next thing you know, the ball didn't enter net, the field was empty and 21 players were caught on camera running after 1 player on the roads of upper serangoon causing a big traffic jam! hahahahhaa..

"Don't you understand? He's all I've got!"

You can hear Kathryn Kuhlman's cry at the church that morning at Pittsburgh where Benny Hinn, at the tender age of 21 sat and got shaken by the dramatic display of Katheryn's affection of the Holy Spirit. Yup. She wasn't talking about her husband or her son or anybody else she knew. She was talking about the HOLY SPIRIT! She followed by saying, "Please! Don't wound Him. He's all Ive got.Don't wound the ONe I love!" and soon after she said, "He's my closest, most personal, most intimate, most beloved friend." Then she did something that leave a powerful impact on Benny Hinn. SHe pointed down at him and said, "He's more real than anything in this world!" Guess what? THat statement caught Benny Hinn. She was talking about someone more real than you or me! Cool stuff!

Benny Hinn caught it. He realised that the place of the Holy Spirit to be the "All I've got" is the place every believer should be. He lived his life chasing after one thing- INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT! Yea. He said, "I've got to have it!" Can we say that? i speak for myself. It's crazy when you realise that everything else; career, spouse, parents, ambitions- should be so faint compared to the relationship you supposed to have with the Holy Spirit. Let's get one thing clear; God the Father is in Heaven, God the Son is in Heaven and God the Spirit is here on earth with you and me! To know Jesus and the Father, you have to have fellowship with the Spirit(1 Cor 2:12). Desiring to be alone with the Holy Spirit and He revealing to you the Word, battling powers and pricipalities with Him, going into intercession and worship is supposed to be inflamed in each one of us! Don't be distracted by trivial matters and issues like TV or computer. Don't be lazing around and though the Holy Spirit is present, totally ignoring Him and treating Him as if He doesn't exist. He is a God! Revere but love Him as a brother, friend and more than a spouse. Talk to Him on the buses and train! Say, "GOOD MORNING HOLY SPIRIT" every morning. Tell you the truth. For our kind of generation, where we want our own space and privacy, the Holy Spirit says, " I'm not gonna give ya any!!" hahaha.. yeah.. He's pursuing you and breathing down your neck even now! He's not a stalker but rather the Spirit of Christ given to us all that we may finally understand His heartbeat and His closeness(Romans 8:14-15). HAllelujah!

God is the Giver of the Commandments, Jesus is the Performer of the commands and the Holy Spirit is the One who brings it about(Gen 1, John 1). Say I tell you to switch on the light. I gave the command. You performed it by lifting the switch and the electricity brings about the light. In order words, the Holy Spirit is the power and the ELECTRICTY that now lives in each believer! Good stuff. The Kingdom of God is in you, the power is in you! yeah. God told me once, "you've gotten all you need." The key to unlocking it however, is your fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Ministry is as a reult of the relationship with Jesus not the other way around. You can live without ministry but you cannot live without Him. That's the attitude every minister should have. Let it all fall and see where you stand. "I WILL MAKE MT BOAST IN CHRIST ALONE!"

ASk for that intimate friendship with the Holy Spirit and see how He changes your total Christian walk. Everyday is sweeter than the day before! YEah. Please learn to listen to the Voice. I tell you the truth, we hear it pretty often. Yup. Do begin to exercise the heavenly language which gets you VIP access to God's own communication line. It builds you up tremendously! Be led by the Spirit day by day. Just today, on the bus i shared to someone about the Holy Spirit! Be led by the Spirit! May He add abundant joy, peace, patience and power to you! ;D
